Garret has also been in many successful stage plays.  Below, please find images from "THE HISTORY MAN", in which he plays Black civil rights activist, writer, orator and humanitarian Frederick Douglass. The play was performed at The Manazar Gamboa Theatre in Long Beach, California on weekends throughout February 2013, Black History Month.
